LSF Honors Winners of the 2025 National Children’s Songwriting Competition
Jakarta — The Film Censorship Institution of the Republic of Indonesia (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia / LSF RI) officially awarded the winners of the 2025 Children’s Songwriting Competition (Lomba Cipta Lagu Anak/LCLA) during a ceremony held at the LSF office in Jakarta on Friday (December 19, 2025). A total of IDR 100 million in prizes was presented to four outstanding winners.
Taking First Prize was Halimpusada Family with their song Sesuaikan Usiamu (Match It to Your Age). Second Prize went to Ayah Ari and Ruby for Bila Salah Tontonanmu (When You Choose the Wrong Show), followed by Yoga Adhianto in Third Place with Mari Kita Memilah (Let’s Learn to Choose). The Audience Favorite Award was claimed by Nova Nur Syant with Ayo Peduli Sensor Mandiri (Let’s Care About Self Censorship).
The winning entries were selected through a multi stage curation process. From 114 submitted songs, the committee shortlisted 52 entries before final selections were made by a distinguished panel of judges: former 1970s child singer Adi Bing Slamet, singer and psychologist Tika Bisono, and veteran music producer Jan Djuhana.
Carrying the theme “Smartly Choosing and Sorting Content”, the competition was organized by LSF as a creative and child friendly educational campaign. Children’s songs were chosen as a powerful medium to convey moral values and media literacy messages especially relevant in the digital age, where access to television, online platforms, and social media content is increasingly widespread.
“This songwriting competition is not merely about winning,” said Kuat Prihatin, Chair of the 2025 LSF Children’s Songwriting Competition Committee. “More importantly, it’s about engaging the public, particularly songwriters and artists in the National Movement for a Self Censorship Culture (GNBSM).”
By blending creativity with education, the competition reflects LSF’s broader mission: nurturing a generation that is not only artistically expressive, but also aware, discerning, and responsible in choosing what to watch. (Nuz)
