LSF ANNUAL REPORT 2022
The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia, or LSF) has released its 2022 Performance Report, showcasing strategic achievements, service innovations, and program developments in response to the challenges of the digital era.
This year marked a major milestone for LSF with the institution earning Third Place in the Public Service Standards Compliance Award from the Indonesian Ombudsman recognition of strong commitment to quality public service.
The report details censorship of more than 36,000 film titles and advertisements, the expansion of media literacy through the National Movement for a Culture of Self-Censorship (GNBSM), and strengthened collaborations with stakeholders across the film industry. It also highlights digital service innovations, including the launch of the Film Guide platform and educational podcasts.
Through these initiatives, the report underscores active role in safeguarding the public while supporting the growth of a national film industry that reflects and respects Indonesian cultural values.
