Enhancing Institutional Administrative Quality, LSF Partners with KIP and KPI

Jakarta, November 12, 2025, administrative documentation plays a crucial role in maintaining order, legal certainty, and the institutional identity of a state body. Each official document must be grounded in proper legal authority and adhere to national regulations including the correct use of state symbols.

“The use of the national emblem, official letter formats, and institutional letterheads must strictly follow government regulations. These elements cannot be used arbitrarily, as they represent the identity of a state institution,” emphasized Gede Narayana, Head of the Regulation and Public Policy Division of the Central Information Commission (KIP), during the Preparation for Drafting Official Institutional Documents of the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution  (LSF RI) in Jakarta on Wednesday (12/11/2025).

Gede also highlighted the importance of standardized document formats, numbering systems, archiving procedures, and decision-document protocols. Establishing uniform administrative standards, he explained, helps ensure the legality of documents and speeds up public service processes.

Yesilia Prahasasti, Senior Archivist at the Secretariat of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI), who explained the implementation of official documentation procedures at KPI, which follow Minister of Communication and Informatics Regulation No. 03/2019 on Official Correspondence Guidelines. “Every document must have a clear legal basis and authority, whether signed by the chairperson or the secretary, depending on administrative function,” she noted.

LSF Chairperson Naswardi stressed the need to update official administrative procedures to align with contemporary bureaucratic standards. “The reconstruction of our administrative documentation system aims to ensure that all correspondence and institutional administration are more orderly, efficient, and consistent with the principles of clean and transparent governance,” he said.

The collaborative discussion with KIP and KPI reflects LSF’s commitment to strengthening administrative governance and institutional accountability marking another step toward a more structured, professional, and adaptive institution in the era of modern public administration. (Fay/Nuz)
