Cinta dan Sejarah
Fatih Fatahillah (Adzando Chrisdavema), a campus media journalist, plans to propose to Fatimah Alfihri (Andena Surya Zabrina). However, Fatimah’s father sets an unusual condition: Fatih must locate a missing historical manuscript belonging to Islamic scholar A. Hassan (David Chalik) within 40 days. Fatih begins his search with his campus media team, traveling from Bandung to Pasuruan while keeping his personal motives hidden. Along the way, he encounters various clues, unexpected meetings, and difficult choices that test his honesty, responsibility, and determination. Amid the pressure of deadlines, journalistic duties, and the presence of another figure close to Fatimah, Fatih must decide whether to pursue his love or complete a historical mission he believes carries greater meaning.
Cinta dan Sejarah is a collaborative work between the Central Board of Persatuan Islam (Persis) and Legend Production House, presenting the historical journey of Persis and the intellectual legacy of A. Hassan on screen. Directed by Teddy Tardiana, the film is the first production to place the history of Persis as the central narrative background. Through this film, audiences are introduced to the values of Islamic preaching and intellectual heritage through a visual medium. The Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF) has classified the film for audiences aged 13 and above. (ynp)
