LSF Launches Disability-Friendly Official Website

The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia – LSF RI) launched its newly redesigned, disability-friendly official website in Jakarta on Thursday (7/8/2025).
Developed in accordance with digital governance principles and the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) policy, the new platform underscores LSF’s commitment to delivering open, inclusive information services, based on the principle of equal access for all, including persons with disabilities.
LSF Chairman, Naswardi reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to ensuring that everyone, without exception, has equal opportunities to participate in all aspects of life. “That is why LSF built this disability-friendly website to make access easier for everyone and to share valid information about cinema, which has long been an integral part of society,” he said.
The site has been designed to meet various digital accessibility needs so that all users can obtain accurate, complete, and high-quality information on film and film advertisement censorship in Indonesia. Key accessibility features include:
Color Contrast Settings – offering high-contrast, light/dark background modes, and color combinations for users with low vision or color vision deficiencies.
Adjustable Text Size – allowing users to enlarge or reduce text without disrupting the page layout.
Highlight Links – marking all hyperlinks with distinctive colors or underlines for easier recognition.
Focus Indicators – visually highlighting active elements during keyboard or screen reader navigation.
Dyslexia-Friendly Font Mode – switching to typefaces that are easier to read for people with dyslexia.
Distraction-Free Reading (Reading Guide & Line Focus) – adding guiding lines or row-by-row focus to assist users with concentration difficulties or neurodivergent conditions.
Full Keyboard Navigation – enabling complete access to all page elements via keyboard commands without using a mouse.
