Spectacular! Here Are the 18 Winners of the 2025 LSF Awards
Jakarta, the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia / LSF RI) presented 17 awards to outstanding figures in film and television who have demonstrated a strong commitment to censorship ethics and upheld the principles of the Self Censorship Culture Movement (Budaya Sensor Mandiri). In addition, a Lifetime Achievement Award was given to an individual recognized for their lifelong contribution to Indonesian art and culture.
The winners were announced at the glittering 2025 LSF Awards Night, held at Studio 5, Emtek City, Jakarta, and broadcast live on Indosiar and Vidio on Saturday (November 8, 2025). The evening was a true celebration of art and creativity, featuring dazzling performances from Indonesia’s top entertainers including the 16 finalists of D’Academy 7, Lemon, Putri Ariani, Leslar Family, Aqeela Calista, Gilang Dirga, Oka Antara, Masayu Anastasia, Ungu, and Dewi Persik.
Carrying the theme “Fostering an Age-Appropriate Viewing Culture”, the 2025 LSF Awards stands apart from other cultural award events. “This award unites recognition across three domains television, cinema, and the commitment to self-censorship values,” explained LSF Chairman Naswardi.
The entries considered for the awards came from 58,415 films and film advertisements submitted between August 2023 and December 2024. Judging was conducted by 17 LSF commissions and 20 censorship officers from diverse backgrounds, organized into six groups.
