LSF Enhances Its Film Censorship Service Facilitation

Jakarta, August 26, 2026 — The Film Censorship Board of Indonesia (LSF RI) continues to improve its censorship services through the Electronic Film and Film Advertisement Censorship Administration System (e-SiAS). This commitment is being strengthened through the development of an upgraded e-SiAS system in collaboration with PT. Giat as the third-party developer responsible for building the application.

“Today’s meeting brings together PT Giat as the vendor that will develop the application according to our needs as film censors, as well as the needs of censorship service users, so they can access e-SiAS more easily,” said LSF Commission I Chair Tri Widyastuti Setyaningsih during a discussion on the development of the new e-SiAS system with PT Giat at the LSF office in Jakarta on Wednesday (August 26, 2026).

PT Giat was represented by its Director, Iqroq Anugerah. The meeting was also attended by Djaini Budan and Imam Muslim from the Secretariat of the Directorate General for the Development, Utilization, and Advancement of Culture (Setditjen PPPK) at the Ministry of Culture of Republic Indonesia

Tri Widyastuti explained that e-SiAS is LSF RI’s official web-based censorship service platform for obtaining a Film Censorship Approval Certificate (STLS). Censorship service users, production houses (PH), film communities, and other parties seeking to submit films for censorship can use e-SiAS directly, making the process easier and more accessible.

Iqroq Anugerah said that preparations are currently underway for the 2026 development of new e-SiAS features. These include the Pendulum Module, Reporting Module, Notification Module, Censorship Report Module, Automation Module, filter and sorting optimization, search optimization, mobile-responsive functionality, and automated backup.
