LSF Awards 2025 Rescheduled Amid Public Considerations
Jakarta – In response to current social dynamics and in the interest of ensuring order and comfort for guests and attendees, the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia, or LSF) has decided to reschedule the LSF Awards 2025 ceremony. Originally slated for Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Studio 5 Indosiar in Jakarta, the event will be held at a later date yet to be announced.
“We will confirm a new date once the situation is more conducive to hosting the event successfully,” said LSF Chairman Naswardi on Wednesday (September 3, 2025). LSF extended its apologies for any inconvenience caused by the change of plans. “With the utmost humility, we sincerely hope for your continued support and understanding as we prepare for the rescheduled LSF Awards Night,” Naswardi added.
Now entering its fifth edition, the LSF Awards 2025 carries the theme “Beacon of Diverse Screens for Indonesia” a reflection of LSF’s mission to serve as a guiding light across the varied screens that shape the nation’s viewing experiences.
By celebrating responsible content and promoting self-censorship awareness, the awards aim to support Indonesia’s cultural development and encourage film and broadcast media that align with national values. (Nuz)
