LSF Launches the 2025 National Children’s Songwriting Competition
Jakarta — Carrying the theme “Smartly Choosing and Sorting Content”, Film Censorship Institution of the Republic of Indonesia (LSF RI) has launched the 2025 National Children’s Songwriting Competition — a creative and educational initiative designed to promote child-friendly values while supporting the National Movement for a Self-Censorship Culture (Gerakan Nasional Budaya Sensor Mandiri / GNBSM).
The initiative encourages children to become a bridge between long-standing traditions of childhood culture and the fast-evolving world of mass media and technology. Through simple lyrics and cheerful melodies, positive messages can be delivered in ways that are enjoyable and deeply memorable.
“That’s why this program was designed as a children’s songwriting competition involving professional musicians,” said LSF RI Chairperson Naswardi in a written statement from Jakarta on Monday (September 29, 2025).
Registration for the National Children’s Songwriting Competition is open from September 29 to November 7, 2025. Eligible participants include students, university students, and members of the general public aged 15 to 25 years.
Participants can register via the official form provided by the organizing committee at https://bit.ly/LombaCiptaLaguAnakLSF2025, and must submit a copy of their student or university ID card along with a stamped declaration of originality. (Nuz)
