Stronger Data, Stronger Collaboration Between LSF and Pusdatin of the Ministry of Culture

Jakarta, August 26, 2026 — Data management, data security, and information technology play an important role in ensuring the continuity of digital services provided by the Film Censorship Board of Indonesia (LSF RI). These issues were among the topics discussed during LSF’s visit to the Data and Information Technology Center (Pusdatin) of theMinistry of Culture of the Republic Indonesia in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday (August 26, 2026).

“Today’s visit is a follow-up to several matters that need to be agreed upon regarding website maintenance to ensure greater continuity of our administrative systems,” said Head of the LSF Data and Information Subcommission Dewi Rahmarini during the visit to Pusdatin.

Dewi explained that such coordination is necessary because LSF’s official website operates under the Ministry of Culture, making further cooperation essential for the management of its digital infrastructure.

In response, Head of the Ministry of Culture’s Data and Information Technology Center, Andi Syamsu Rijal, welcomed the LSF delegation and expressed Pusdatin’s readiness to strengthen collaboration in information technology and data management.

“Data and information for the film industry are extremely important because they are part of the nation’s identity and assets, while also serving as instruments of cultural diplomacy,” Andi Syamsu Rijal said.

Andi added that the use of data and information in the film industry also serves important roles in entertainment and education. He noted that the cultural space created through film can become an important Indonesian asset while helping strengthen national identity.

“We hope that the maintenance of LSF’s official website and the LSF Public Information and Documentation Officer (PPID) website can continue sustainably through cooperation with Pusdatin at the Ministry of Culture, particularly in maintaining data security and storage,” Dewi said.
