The 18 Winners of the 2025 LSF Awards

Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (Lembaga Sensor Film Republik Indonesia / LSF RI) presented 18 awards to film and television, professionals who have demonstrated strong adherence to censorship regulations and upheld the principles of the Self-Censorship Culture Movement (Budaya Sensor Mandiri). In addition, a special Lifetime Achievement Award was given to an individual recognized for lifelong contributions to Indonesian art and culture.
The winners were announced at the star-studded 2025 LSF Awards Night, held at Studio 5, Emtek City, Jakarta, and broadcast live on Indosiar and Vidio on Saturday (November 8, 2025). The gala featured dazzling performances from well known musicians and entertainers, including the 16 finalists of D’Academy 7, Lemon, Putri Ariani, Leslar Family, Aqeela Calista, Gilang Dirga, Oka Antara, Masayu Anastasia, Ungu, and Dewi Persik. The event, hosted by Rina Nose, Ramzi, and Astrid Tiar, blended education, entertainment, and cultural appreciation into a vibrant and engaging showcase.
Carrying the theme “Promoting an Age-Appropriate Viewing Culture”, the 2025 LSF Awards highlight LSF’s mission to balance artistic freedom with social responsibility. “This award unites recognition across three key sectors television, cinema, and adherence to self-censorship culture,” said LSF Chairman Naswardi.
The judging process involved reviewing 58,415 films and film advertisements submitted between August 2023 and December 2024, assessed by 17 LSF commissioners and 20 censorship officers divided into six panels.

About LSF RI
The Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF RI) is a permanent and independent state institution responsible for assessing the eligibility of films and film advertisements before their public release or screening. Film censorship in Indonesia is mandated by Article 57 of Law No. 33 of 2009 on Cinema, which requires every film and film advertisement to obtain a Certificate of Censorship Approval (STLS) from LSF prior to distribution.
