Yadang: The Snitch
Lee Gang Soo (Kang Ha Neul), an online taxi driver, becomes the victim of a false accusation by an unknown person. He is forced to endure harrowing conditions in prison before receiving an offer for a reduced sentence from Ku Gwan Hee (Yu Hae Jin), a highly ambitious prosecutor determined to advance his career. The prosecutor offers Lee Gang Soo the chance to become a yadang—a Korean slang term referring to a drug offender who serves as an informant for law enforcement authorities.
Director Hwang Byeong-guk is known for Wedding Campaign (2005) and S.I.U. (2011).
