A Working Man
Levon Cade (Jason Statham), a former commando, now works at a construction company. One night, Jenny Garcia (Arianna Rivas) vanishes, kidnapped while out at a bar with her friend. Jenny happens to be the daughter of Joe Garcia (Michael Peña), Levon’s boss. Knowing Levon’s background, Joe pleads with him to find his daughter. Initially reluctant, Levon ultimately agrees, driven by the urge to help the only daughter of his boss’s wife, Merry (Isla Gie).
Based on the novel Levon’s Trade by Chuck Dixon, the film’s screenplay is co-written by actor Sylvester Stallone, who originally planned to adapt the story into a TV series in 2017, though the project never came to fruition. A Working Manmarks Stallone’s fifth time writing a film starring Jason Statham. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution(LSF) has rated the film for viewers aged 17 and above. Viewers are advised to select films responsibly in accordance with the age classification. (nwo)
