Whistle
After a tragic accident involving Chrys (Dafne Keen) and her father, Chrys decides to move in with her cousin Rel (Sky Yang) and enroll at Pellington High School. On her first day, she is assigned a locker previously owned by Mason Horse Raymore (Stephen Kalyn), a school basketball player who died in a fire a year earlier. Inside the locker, Chrys finds a strange object resembling a whistle. When she touches it, she feels a powerful, mysterious energy calling her name and compelling her to blow the whistle.
This psychological horror film centers on the haunting sound of a mysterious whistle, an artifact believed to originate from the Maya civilization. The sound appears at certain moments and brings an unseen threat. Directed by Corin Hardy, known for The Nun (2018), the film emphasizes suspense through silence and tension.
