Way Back Home
Mesala (Khiva Iskak) and Ratih (Imelda E. Budiman) set out for Pacitan, East Java, to reunite with Ratih’s long-lost child. At the same time, Juda (Albert Halim) visits his half-brother Mesala to ask for help in finding their missing father. However, Mesala refuses to meet his father and stepmother, harboring deep resentment toward the man he blames for abandoning his ailing mother, who later died heartbroken. Persuaded by Ratih, Mesala reluctantly joins Juda on a perilous journey through the dense forests of Kalimantan, where buried wounds resurface and old tensions between the estranged brothers intensify.
