TURBULENCE
Zach (Jeremy Irvine) is a successful young executive. However, his personal relationship with his wife, Emmy (Hera Hilmar), is strained due to the trauma of losing their child through miscarriage. In an effort to repair their relationship, Zach invites Emmy to travel to the Dolomites in northern Italy for a hot air balloon trip. What is meant to be a romantic journey turns into a disaster when a mysterious woman, Julia (Olga Kurylenko), joins the flight. Julia turns out to have a past connection with Zach.
The film is set in the Dolomites, northern Italy, a mountain region known for its scenic beauty, often explored through hot air balloon experiences. Each year, the Dolomiti Balloon Festival is held, typically from early January to February during the winter season. This festival has gained popularity comparable to the well-known balloon festival in Cappadocia, Türkiye. The Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF) has classified Turbulence for audiences aged 17 and above. Be discerning in selecting content suitable for your age. (sof)
