Daeng Sarro (Armada Sijaya), the owner of a funeral supplies business, asks his children and grandchildren to come and stay at his home in a remote village after his wife passes away, until the mourning period is over. However, due to an urgent matter, Rahma must return to the city, while her children remain at the house. As the days pass, various mysterious events begin to haunt Daeng Sarro’s grandchildren.
Filmed at Bukit Kasepekang in Majannang Village, Gowa Regency, the location was once part of a defensive stronghold and lies between two mountains that served as defense sites during the colonial era. The film is expected to help promote tourism at Bukit Kasepekang. Produced by Young Creative Entertainment, the film presents suspenseful scenes while responding to public demand for horror films. Featuring numerous disturbing visuals and sounds, as well as intense violence, blood, and frightening scenes, Toko Perlengkapan Mayat has been classified by the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) for audiences aged 21 and above (21+).
