Three Kingdoms: Starlit Heroes
Cao Cao (Tan Jianci) is a warlord in the Eastern Han Dynasty serving under the young emperor Liu Xie (Wang Wang). Along with his army, he engages in the Battle of Guandu against Yuan Shao (Jinbo Lu), who seeks to seize power through cunning means and commands a much larger force. Despite the odds, Cao Cao remains steadfast, relying on his expertise in military strategy and confronting Yuan Shao with determination and courage.
Three Kingdom: Starlit Heroes, directed by Meng Yu and Yuan Yuan, is adapted from the classic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong. The film was released in China on 1 October 2025. Featuring animated action with modern visual elements, the film has been classified by the Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF) for audiences aged 13 and above. (fat)
