Raymond King (J.K. Simmons), Director of the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), is killed at a café after meeting a mysterious woman. When his deputy, Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), identifies Raymond’s body, she discovers a message written on his arm: “Find the Accountant.” At her late boss’s rented house, Marybeth finds the business card of accountant Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), leading them to work together to investigate Raymond’s death. Their investigation ultimately brings them face-to-face with a human trafficking syndicate and a contract killer named Edith Sanchez (Daniella Pineda).
