The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
Bowser Jr. (voiced by Benny Safdie) emerges as a major threat by kidnapping Princess Rosalina (Brie Larson), a key figure who maintains the balance of the galaxy. His actions are driven by the ambition to free his father, Bowser (Jack Black), and restore his family’s former dominance. This plan has the potential to disrupt the cosmic order that has long been maintained. To stop him, Mario (Chris Pratt), together with Luigi (Charlie Day), Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Yoshi (Donald Glover), embarks on a dangerous mission across multiple galaxies filled with new mysteries and threats.
Inspired by the game Super Mario Galaxy (2007), the film is directed again by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and serves as a sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023). It presents a broader adventure, enhanced visuals, and deeper emotional storytelling. The Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF) has classified The Super Mario Galaxy Movie for audiences of all ages (SU). (&i)
