Sukma
Arini (Luna Maya) and Hendra (Fedi Nuril) have a marriage that has fallen apart, ending in divorce. Arini remarries Pram (Oka Antara), who brings happiness to her and her child, Iyan (Kiano Tiger Wong). They move into a house in a small town cared for by Bu Sri (Christine Hakim). The home’s atmosphere begins to change after Iyan plays hide-and-seek in a secret room and discovers an antique mirror. Once the mirror is placed in Arini’s sewing room, strange occurrences start to plague the house.
Sukma is Baim Wong’s second feature after his directorial debut Lembayung (2024). This time, Baim collaborates with novelist Ratih Kumala (Kretek) as co-writer. Marking actor Fedi Nuril’s debut in a horror film, Sukma is classified by Indonesia’s LSF for audiences aged 13 and above. (fr)
