Lee Young Eun (Kwak Sun Young) is a single parent raising her daughter, So Hyun (Gi So Yoo), who has a disturbing habit of hurting the people around her. So Hyun’s behavior leaves Lee Young Eun stressed and living in constant fear. Twenty years later, Kim Min (Kwon Yu Ri), a quiet woman who works as a crime scene cleaner, finds herself unsettled by the arrival of a cheerful woman named Hae Young (Lee Seol). The stories of Lee Young Eun and Kim Min become intertwined as the strange events in their lives are gradually revealed.

Somebody is an adaptation of the 2020 webcomic of the same title by Kong Se Ri. The film marks the directorial and screenwriting debut of Kim Yeo Jung and Lee Jung Chan.
