Ahuja (Akshay Kumar) and his wife, Preeti (Nimrat Kaur), host a party at their home. They invite Ahuja’s subordinate, Tabby (Veer Pahariya), and his wife, Geeta (Sara Ali Khan). Suddenly, Ahuja and Tabby receive orders from their superior to conduct reconnaissance on Pakistani forces along the border. During the mission, they come under attack from the Pakistan Air Force. The Indian Air Force unit led by Ahuja then launches a retaliatory strike on Pakistan’s Sargodha Air Base. During the operation, Tabby engages in an aerial duel with a Pakistani Air Force officer named Ahmed (Sharad Kelkar). Tabby subsequently goes missing without a trace.

Inspired by India’s retaliatory strike on Pakistan’s Sargodha Air Base during the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, the film marks Veer Pahariya’s acting debut alongside Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur. Sky Force was released in Indian cinemas on 24 January 2025, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified this action film for audiences aged 13 and above. (fat)
