Sebelum 7 Hari
Tari (Agla Artalidia), together with her two children, Bian (Anantya Kirana) and Hanif (Sultan Hamonangan), and her brother, Kadar (Haydar Salishz), returns to their childhood home. Mbok Yati (Mian Tiara) tells them that their mother, Anggun (Fanny Ghassani), is ill and bedridden because a gold susuk implanted in her body is preventing her from dying. It is later revealed that Anggun is under a curse and must not be buried for seven days, until Thursday Kliwon, as instructed by Ki Husein (Aksara Dena). They must uncover the truth behind Anggun’s past in order to break the curse and reunite their family.
Sebelum 7 Hari was released in cinemas on 23 January 2025. Director Awi Suryadi adapted the horror story from the popular short film of the same title. The original Sebelum 7 Hari, released on YouTube in 2021, received numerous awards, including Best Live Action at Hellofest 14. Featuring scenes of violence that are not excessive, the film has been classified by the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) for audiences aged 13 and above. (air)
