Sidney (Neve Campbell), a mystery novelist and survivor of the Ghostface terror, begins a new life in Pine Grove, Indiana. As a protective mother to her only daughter, Tatum (Isabel May), who is navigating her search for identity, Sidney grows increasingly anxious as she senses the return of Ghostface. The threat extends not only to Sidney but also to Tatum and her friends. Together with her husband, Mark (Joel McHale), Sidney attempts to protect her family while becoming suspicious of those around her.
