

Sah Katanya
Marni, affectionately called Mar (Nadya Arina), is 27 years old and the youngest of four siblings born to Dipo (Landung Simatupang) and Ning (Hargi Sundari). She’s the only one in the family who stays single, while all her siblings are divorcees. Trouble strikes when Mar’s father suddenly passes away. Through Uncle Kusno (Susilo Nugroho), Mar learns of her father’s final wish: she must marry a man chosen by him. Marno (Dimas Anggara), the son of Dipo’s old friend right there in front of her father’s body. The once-peaceful family home descends into chaos as two very different events must be held at the same time.
This heartfelt family comedy is directed by Loeloe Hendra, winner of the Citra Award for Best Short Film with Onomastika (2014) and recipient of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Busan International Film Festival 2024 for Tale of the Land (2024). The Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has rated the film for audiences aged 13 plus. (tw)
