Riki Rhino
Riki (voiced by Hamish Daud), a young Sumatran rhinoceros, loses his horn after it is forcibly taken by a cunning poacher named Mr. Jak (Zack Lee). Determined to reclaim what was stolen, Riki embarks on an exciting adventure with his best friend, a duck named Beni (Ge Pamungkas). As they journey through the forest, they frequently help various animals they encounter along the way. Through every act of kindness, Riki gains a special ability: he can mimic the skills of other animals. This extraordinary power becomes crucial in helping him overcome obstacles and ultimately recover his missing horn.
Directed by Erwin Budiono, Riki Rhino highlights wildlife conservation, particularly the protection of the endangered Sumatran rhinoceros while showcasing Indonesia’s efforts to develop local animated films with educational and ecological messages for young audiences. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has rated Riki Rhino for audiences of all ages. (aza)
