Bryan (Austin Abrams), who works as a medical courier, is assigned to deliver a medical package to a hospital in Raccoon City. While driving through the snowy mountains, he accidentally hits a woman. Intending to help her and take her to the hospital, he instead encounters a horrifying reality. Determined to complete his delivery at all costs, Bryan struggles to survive threats from mutated creatures caused by a leak at an experimental laboratory in Raccoon City.

Adapted from the acclaimed video game Resident Evil 2 (Hideki Kamiya, 1998) but presented in a more modern setting, Resident Evil is directed by Zach Cregger.
