Rangga dan Cinta
Set in Jakarta in 2001, Rangga dan Cinta follows the life of high school student Cinta (Leya Princy), whose world seems perfect—supportive family, popularity, and a tight-knit group of best friends: Alya (Jasmine Nadya), Maura (Kyandra Sembel), Milly (Katyana Mawira), and Karmen (Daniella Tumiwa). Things take a surprising turn when she meets Rangga (El Putra Sarira), a quiet, poetic student who wins first place in a school poetry contest, surpassing her own work. Intrigued by his intellect and moved by the depth of his words, Cinta finds herself falling for him despite their vastly different worlds.
Unlike the iconic love story in Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? (Rudi Soedjarwo – 2002), Rangga dan Cinta is a classic romantic drama with a musical twist. According to producers, the musical format aims to heighten emotional depth and offer a fresh take through a new generation of actors. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified the film as suitable for viewers aged 13 plus.
