Pulau Hantu
Dara (Taskya Namya), who has always been strictly controlled by her mother, finally gains a sense of freedom when she moves away from home. Before leaving, she sneaks away with her friends, Noah (Bukie B. Mansyur), Lathi (Hannah Hannon), Niki (Cindy Nirmala), and Pandu (Samo Rafael), for a vacation together. During their journey, they become stranded on an island, where they encounter a series of strange and haunting occurrences.
The film is a remake of the 2007 film of the same title. Director Ferry Pei Irawan previously worked as an assistant director on Wiro Sableng: Pendekar Kapak Maut Naga Geni 212 (2018) and Pasukan Garuda: I Leave My Heart in Lebanon (2016). The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified Pulau Hantu for audiences aged 13 and above. (cha)
