Pororo (Lee Sun) and his friends visit a hunters’ village, where they admire a hero known as Captain Murrock (Han Shin). He is a monster hunter admired by everyone and plans to hunt a sea monster that frequently roams near the village. Pororo and his friends decide to follow Murrock on his hunt for the sea monster. However, Pororo’s friends are swallowed by the creature. Pororo and Crong (Lee Mi-Ja), who manage to survive, then join forces with Murrock to hunt down the monster. However, it turns out that Murrock has an evil plan of his own.

Adapted from the South Korean animated series Pororo, which is highly popular among children, the film portrays an underwater adventure and friendship. Released in Indonesia on 1 February 2025, Pororo Movie: Underwater Adventure has been classified by the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) for audiences of all ages (SU). (irf)
