Param Sundari
Param Sachdev (Sidharth Malhotra), the privileged son of a wealthy Delhi businessman, is constantly mocked by his father, Parmeet Sachdev (Sanjay Kapoor), for being a spendthrift with no real achievements. Determined to prove himself, Param invests in a start-up dating app called Soulmates. Curious, he tries the app himself and finds a match in Kerala with a young woman named Sundari Damodaram (Janhvi Kapoor). Together with his loyal friend Jagdeep Bedi (Manjot Singh), Param travels south to win her heart. Along the way, he faces cultural clashes and personal challenges, bridging the divide between North and South India.
The film’s title, Param Sundari, is inspired by the hit Bollywood song of the same name, composed by A.R. Rahman for Mimi (Laxman Utekar , 2021). Produced by Maddock Films, where Rahman has also collaborated, the film blends romance, comedy, and cultural commentary in a lighthearted yet heartfelt story. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified Param Sundari as suitable for audiences aged 13 plus. (sof)
