Paradise Lost
Ryu Sun-woo (Bae Hyun-sung) is the son of single mother Ryu So-young (Kim Hyun-joo). One day, Sun-woo goes on a camping trip with his schoolmates. However, the school bus carrying Sun-woo suddenly disappears. Several days later, the bus is found, but Sun-woo and his friends are nowhere to be seen. Nine years later, Sun-woo unexpectedly returns as a young adult, looking nothing like his mother had imagined. During the years of his disappearance, the grieving So-young has sought comfort in an artificial intelligence (AI) program that recreates an image of Sun-woo as a young boy. As a result, the reunion between mother and son becomes unsettling, leaving their relationship feeling strangely unfamiliar.
