Panji Tengkorak
Panji (voiced by Deni Sumargo) sacrifices his soul to dark magic to avenge the death of his beloved wife, Murni (Aisha Nurra Datau). When he awakens, he discovers his body and spirit are bound by the very sorcery he invoked. Lost and tormented, Panji wanders aimlessly until he crosses paths with Gantari (Aghniny Haque) and the powerful warrior Bramantya (Dony Damara). Together, they persuade him to join a mission to retrieve a stolen sacred relic, an artifact capable of breaking the curse that binds him.
The quest propels Panji into a deadly conflict between rival kingdoms, while forcing him to confront the haunting truths of his darkened past.
Panji Tengkorak is an animated adaptation of Hans Jaladara’s legendary comic series first published in 1968. Director Daryl Wilson reimagines this Indonesian classic in animation form, striving to capture the visual beauty and cultural depth of the original artwork.
