Alya (Nirina Zubir) and her husband Raka (Nugie) take their daughter Yasmin (Firzanah Alya) on a holiday to visit her grandmother Dewi (Mutia Datau). Their joyous trip soon turns into the tragic death of Yasmin. Devastated, Raka blames Alya for their daughter’s death, believing she failed to protect her.
Back in Jakarta, Alya begins hearing Yasmin’s voice calling out to her, while Raka discovers Yasmin’s favorite doll already buried with her mysteriously reappearing in their home. Disturbed by these supernatural occurrences, the couple returns to Dewi’s house, only to find Yasmin’s grave empty. Joined by Basri (Septian Dwi Cahyo), they set out to uncover the unsettling truth behind Yasmin’s death and the vengeful presence that now haunts them.
A collaboration between Dunia Mencekam Studios and Maxima Pictures, Panggilan dari Kubur weaves psychological drama with chilling supernatural horror. LSF has classified the film as suitable for viewers aged 13 and above. (miq)
