Panda Plan 2: The Magical Tribe
A special panda named Hu Hu becomes the target of an international criminal syndicate. Efforts to protect the panda lead his guardian, Jackie (Jackie Chan), to an isolated tribal region untouched by the outside world. To find a way home, Jackie and Hu Hu must help the tribe resolve a unique conflict within their community. Amid an adventure filled with action and humor, they must prove their good intentions. They discover that the tribe is facing several challenges, including intergenerational conflict, unusual natural disturbances, and external threats they do not yet understand.
Panda Plan 2 is a sequel to Panda Plan (2024), once again starring Jackie Chan. This time, Derek Hui replaces Zhang Luan as director. The film is partly inspired by Jackie Chan’s lifelong affection for pandas. To avoid risks associated with using real animals, the panda in the film is created using CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery), resulting in a highly realistic, expressive, and engaging character. The Indonesian Film Censorship Board (LSF) has classified the film for audiences aged 13 and above. (ind)
