Putri Dewi Kuncoro (Keisya Levronka) lives in a remote village with her mother (Nai Djenar Maisa Ayu) and younger brother, Aji (Krishna Keitaro). The village is plagued by inexplicable events, mysterious disappearances and baffling thefts. When her mother suddenly vanishes, Putri vows to uncover the truth. With the help of her friends Kiki (Ummi Quary) and Cecep (Fajar Nugra), she ventures into haunted forests, abandoned factories, and an eerie old house inhabited by dark spirits. Along the way, Putri discovers a horrifying secret: her family is entangled in a wealth-gaining ritual that demands human sacrifices. As the terror intensifies and time runs out, Putri must confront her deepest fears and make a choice that will seal her family’s fate.
Pamali: Tumbal is the second installment in the expanding Pamali Universe, following Pamali: Dusun Pocong (2023). Based on the horror game Pamali: The Little Devil by StoryTale Studios, the film immerses audiences in a chilling tale that blends psychological horror with Indonesian mysticism and local folklore.
