Paku Jailangkung
Sumi (Tata Luna) and Surni (Gea Alifira), two sisters, are trapped in the cruel household of Mbah Sanu (Ibra Saeha), a wealthy village landowner with a gambling obsession. Sumi is Mbah Sanu’s new wife, while Surni is also his wife. Mbah Sanu will resort to any means necessary to satisfy his gambling obsession, including using a lucky talisman to secure victory. One day, Mbah Sanu is challenged to a gambling match by Sugeng (Deden Ifan), a champion gambler from a neighboring village. Sugeng eventually defeats Mbah Sanu by switching his prized talisman. Unable to accept his defeat, Mbah Sanu performs a Jailangkung ritual. Unexpectedly, the spirit summoned through the ritual turns out to be Satrio (Jeremy Zefanya), Sumi’s former husband, whom Mbah Sanu had brutally murdered.
