O’ Romeo
Ustara (Shahid Kapoor) is a gang leader and contract killer who collaborates with Mumbai Intelligence Bureau chief Ismail Khan (Nana Patekar). One day, a woman named Afsha Qureshi (Triptii Dimri) asks Ustara to kill four individuals responsible for the death of her husband, Mehmood Qureshi (Vikrant Massey). Ustara refuses the offer, as three of the four targets are powerful state officials in Mumbai.
Inspired by real events from the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi, the film portrays a violent underworld of revenge in 1990s Mumbai and stars Shahid Kapoor. Indian actress Disha Patani, known for her role in the Chinese box office hit Kung Fu Yoga (2017), makes a special appearance. O’ Romeo, released to coincide with Valentine’s Day on 14 February 2026, marks the reunion of director Vishal Bhardwaj and Shahid Kapoor, following their previous collaborations in Kaminey (2009) and Haider (2014).
