Nintama Rantaro: Invincible Master of the Dokutake Ninja
Teacher Hansuke Doi, who teaches at the Ninjutsu Academy where Rantaro, Kirimaru, and Shinbei study and train, suddenly goes missing. In his absence, Zatto Konamon steps in, though he refuses to explain why. Meanwhile, Academy Head Yamada receives troubling news: Teacher Doi vanished mysteriously after a duel with one of his students, Sonamon. To investigate, Yamada forms a search team composed of sixth-level ninja students, tasked with infiltrating the Dokutake Fortress.
The film is adapted from the long-running anime series based on the manga of the same name by Sobe Amako. First published in 1993, it became widely known in Indonesia as Ninjaboy, telling the story of three friends Rantaro, Kirimaru, and Shinbei striving to become great ninjas. The comic’s popularity led to the anime adaptation, which once aired on Indonesian television, and later inspired the live-action film Ninja Kids (Takashi Miike, 2011).
Released in Japan in December 2024, Nintama Rantaro: Invincible Master of the Dokutake Ninja offers a thrilling mix of action and humor true to the franchise’s spirit. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified the film for audiences aged 13 plus (ibn)
