Jung Hwan (Jo Jung-suk) is a single father. His daughter, Soo Ah (Choi Yoo-ri), turns into a zombie after a viral outbreak strikes their city. To keep her alive and preserve her humanity, Jung Hwan takes her to the village where his mother, Bam Sun (Lee Jung-eun), lives. Jung Hwan and his friend Dong Bae (Yoon Kyung-ho) work to train Soo Ah so she won’t attack people. Even though she has become a zombie, Soo Ah still shows traces of human emotion and memory.

This dramedy directed by Pil Gam-seong is adapted from the Korean webtoon (Jombittal) by Lee Yun-chang. The webtoon was first published on Naver in 2018 and concluded in 2020, comprising a total of 91 episodes, and won readers’ hearts with its warm and touching take on a zombie story. Premiering in July 2025, the film is classified by Indonesia’s LSF for audiences aged 13 and above. (nmn)
