Memburu Pemangsa
To investigate a child abduction case, Agnes (Laura Basuki), editor-in-chief of the Daily Wave News, forms a team consisting of Cia (Prilly Latuconsina), Anya (Yasmin Jasem), and Brina (Taskya Namya), assisted by police officer Petra (Andri Mashadi). Their investigation eventually leads them to a figure known as “Pemangsa” (Teuku Rifnu Wikana), who is suspected of being the mastermind behind the abduction of children to be sacrificed to the devil.
The film marks Umay Shahab’s feature-film directorial debut. In addressing the issue of crimes against children, the production team sought guidance and consulted with the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas Perlindungan Anak), academics, criminology experts from the University of Indonesia (UI), the Human Trafficking Crime Division (TPPO) of the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri), and investigative media professionals. The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified Memburu Pemangsa for audiences aged 17 and above. Be discerning in selecting content suitable for your age. (rio)
