Lilo Pelekai (Maia Kealoha) lives with her older sister, Nani (Sydney Agudong), after losing both of their parents. Nani encourages Lilo to adopt a dog to ease her loneliness and keep her company. However, they do not realize that the “dog” they adopt is actually Stitch (voiced by Chris Sanders), a blue-furred extraterrestrial creature created through an experiment and designed to cause destruction. Over time, Stitch learns the deeper meaning of family (ohana) and friendship through his bond with Lilo.
This live-action film follows the same storyline as the original animated film, Lilo & Stitch (Chris Sanders, 2002). The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified Lilo & Stitch for audiences of all ages (SU). (feb)
