Guo Jing (Xiao Zhan) leaves his hometown at a young age to become a martial artist. During his journey, he meets Huang Rong (Zhuang Dafei) and encounters numerous masters of various martial arts disciplines. Eventually, they master the legendary Nine Yang Manual and the Eighteen Dragon-Subduing Palms. Many enemies seek to obtain the powerful techniques contained in the manual, including Ouyang Feng (Tony Leung Ka-fai), known as the Western Venom. Amid their struggle against the Western Venom, Guo Jing and Huang Rong become separated. Guo Jing must then defend his homeland from an invasion by the Mongols led by the Great Khan (Bayaertu).

The Legend of the Condor Heroes is an iconic wuxia tale, while Tsui Hark is one of China’s most renowned directors, known for bringing wuxia stories to life through spectacular visuals and epic action sequences. Adapted from chapters 34 to 40 of Jin Yong’s Condor Trilogy, the story has appeared in various television adaptations since 1983. Legends of the Condor Heroes: The Gallants was released in China on 29 January 2025 and in Indonesia on 26 February 2025.
