KUASA GELAP: PERJANJIAN DARAH
Father Rendra (Lukman Sardi) and Father Thomas (Jerome Kurnia) once again find themselves confronting a far more complicated supernatural case. A family in East Java experiences a series of terrifying incidents. Behind the terror lies a secret from the past that carries consequences for the next generation. As the dark forces become increasingly difficult to control, the two priests must perform an exorcism while facing challenges to their faith, courage, and the choices they believe in.
A sequel to the horror film Kuasa Gelap (Bobby Prasetyo, 2024), the film expands its horror universe by bringing together elements of Catholic exorcism and beliefs surrounding blood-pact practices within the context of Indonesian culture. The production has also been made on a larger scale, including the exploration of coastal areas as one of its main settings and the use of the IMAX format for a more immersive cinematic experience. Directed by Rizal Mantovani, Kuasa Gelap: Perjanjian Darah has been classified by The Film Censorship Institution of the Republic of Indonesia (LSF) for audiences aged 13 and above. (fen)
