Kampung Jabang Mayit
Bagas (Bukie Mansyur) has a girlfriend named Weda (Ersya Aurelia), a famous model who is pregnant. Bagas supports and encourages Weda to terminate her pregnancy in order to protect her modeling career. They travel to Rangkaspuna Village to meet a traditional birth attendant named Ni Itoh (Atiqah Hasiholan). In the village, they encounter Rini (Rachquel Nesia), who lives with her son, Ghuna (Rasya Yoga), a boy suffering from a mysterious illness that has left him unable to speak. Rini believes that Weda has something within her that could cure Ghuna.
The film’s trailer was released exclusively at the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (JAFF) in 2024. Inspired by a serialized story of the same title on Prasodjo Muhammad’s YouTube channel, Kampung Jabang Mayit has been classified by the Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) for audiences aged 17 and above.
