Jumbo
Don (voiced by Prince Poetiray) is a boy who often feels insecure because of his large body. He is frequently belittled by Atta (M. Adhiyat) and his other friends. Together with Nurman (Yusuf Oskan) and Mae (Misca Fortuna), Don sets out to prove what he is capable of. They take part in a talent show while trying to retrieve a storybook left by Don’s parents that Atta has taken. One day, Don meets Meri (Quinn Salman), a young ghost who needs his help to rescue her parents from ghost hunters. Don must complete all these missions for the sake of his friends.
Visinema Studios previously released the animated film Nussa. Jumbo was produced entirely by Indonesian talents and is the first Indonesian animated film to be released globally in 17 countries. Jumbo was also presented in a sneak peek at the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival (2024). The Indonesian Film Censorship Institution (LSF) has classified Jumbo for audiences of all ages (SU). (won)
