Judheg
At a young age, Warti (Darti Yatimah) is forced to shoulder an overwhelming burden—becoming a teenage mother, the family’s sole breadwinner, and a victim of domestic violence. Struggling to breastfeed her baby Cahyo (M. Adzfar Alkautsar) due to stress and malnutrition, she receives no support from her husband Supri (Sigit Blewuk), who is trapped in online gambling and abusive behavior.
From behind the piles of false eyelashes she makes to survive, Warti searches for the strength to decide her future: remain trapped in a toxic marriage or break free to build a better life for herself and her child.
Judheg offers a stark portrayal of early marriage, poverty, and the struggles of young women robbed of their adolescence. Directed by Misya Latief, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on December 1, 2025, following its screening at an indie film festival on October 5, 2025.
Despite containing depictions of domestic violence, the film carries an important educational message about the harsh consequences of child marriage. LSF has classified Judheg for audiences aged 17 and above. Be Discerning in Selecting Content Suitable for Your Age. (AIR)
