In 2011, in the village of Parsaul, Rajasthan, a farmer named Rajaram Solanki takes his own life out of despair after his land is illegally seized by a powerful corporation, the Imperial Group. Five years later, his widow, Janki Rajaram Solanki (Seema Biswas), seeks help from two lawyers Jagdishwar “Jolly” Mishra (Akshay Kumar) and Jagdish “Jolly” Tyagi (Arshad Warsi) to fight for her late husband’s land rights. Despite their frequent disagreements and rivalry, the two lawyers eventually set aside their differences and unite in pursuit of justice.
