Arya (Raihan Khan), the son of the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs (Rory Asyari), becomes entangled in a scandal involving the embezzlement of tsunami relief funds. Soon after, he is tormented by visions of the Bridge of Shiratal Mustaqim—the passage in the afterlife said to separate heaven from hell. Together with his mother (Imelda Therinne), Arya sets out to uncover the meaning behind these visions and their connection to his sins and the divine reckoning that awaits him. Their search leads them into a terrifying spiritual journey, forcing them to confront the moral and eternal consequences of wrongdoing.
Directed by Bounty Umbara with a screenplay by Erwanto Alphadullah—whose previous film Di Ambang Kematian(2023) achieved commercial success—The Bridge of Shiratal Mustaqim weaves elements of horror, morality, and religious reflection. Through its depiction of corruption, guilt, and the afterlife, the film delivers a powerful social critique on accountability and redemption.
